This daybed was one of my earlier pieces. It’s a relatively simple construction of solid walnut pieces. Of note are the hand-cut dovetail joints at each of the four corners. The legs are also interesting in that some really beautiful chunk of walnut was sliced into 5mm thick pieces which were glued onto more plain looking wood. This added some hearty texture and grain to some of the most visible parts of the bed. Only shame is that half the bed is invisible against a wall.
